About the event
Dr. Esther Lubunga Kenge, who currently resides in Bukavu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo will be joining us to discuss the atrocious violence against women in the easter region of the DRC. Following the completion of her Masters in Theology in Theology and Development at KwaZulu Natal University she worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the University of South Africa in Pretoria in the field of Gender and Theology. She is has written as well as published several articles in quoted journals and is the author of; The Doctrine of Social Holiness: Implications for the HIV and AIDS Epidemic. Currently she is involved with holding seminars and academic works with local organizations and universities, as well as providing support for women in the region.
